Scottish Icelandic Open to Everyone

The Scottish Open for The Icelandic Horse provides an opportunity for riders located in and around the North of the United Kingdom  to train and compete at all levels across a range of disciplines including,  gaited classes, dressage, track & trail plus the famous Icelandic Beer Tölt.

In 2022 the first Scottish Open for The Icelandic Horse was hosted at Netherton Equestrian near Perth.

Year on year the show has grown but we pride ourselves in providing a supportive and fun atmosphere, giving competitors a challenge while giving confidence and enjoyment no matter their riding level.  This could only be possible with the support of our generous sponsors, the Icelandic Horse Society of Great Britain (IHSGB), the riders, volunteers, judges, writers and stewards.
